MyFit Crossover Bra
The MyFit Crossover Bra is a sewing pattern for a casual, wire-free bra. There are three front styles, three coverage amounts, three overlap amounts, and four back styles. Mix and match to get the style that you prefer! This pattern generator uses up to 11 body measurements, with the choice of measuring around a chest or a bust. The pattern also takes into account your fabric choices and sewing preferences. Access to the Pattern Generator never expires, so you can make as many crossover bras as you like.
Here are the details:
- Fabric: Knit, preferably with 4-way stretch; the pattern will adjust to the stretch percentage of the fabric you are using. You can use a different fabric for an optional lining.
- Sewing Level: Beginner with some intermediate options
- Sizes: All of them! The pattern is drawn based on up to 11 body measurements
- Works for adults, kids and dolls
- Measure around a bust or around a chest
- Option to use different measurements for the left and right bust
- Small overlap, medium overlap, large overlap
- Full coverage, medium coverage, low coverage
- Bottom finish options: Band with elastic, band without elastic, fold-over elastic, lingerie elastic and exposed elastic
- Optional hook closure
- Front styles: flat front (for kids), gathers, dart, princess seam
- Back styles: straight straps, crossed straps, wide racerback, narrow racerback
- Fabric straps or bra straps
- Optional lining
- Edge finish options: fold-over elastic, fabric binding, fabric bands, lingerie elastic, or no extra finish for fully lined bras
- Seam and elastic allowances: you get to choose!
- Number of patterns you can make with one purchase: as many as you like!
- Paper size: letter, A4, A0, tabloid, legal, A3, projector file, inverted projector, and preview option. Choose to cut on the fold or have unfolded pieces
- Full instructions for all style options, with photos for each step
This pattern is for personal use only. You may make bras for yourself or others. Small scale hand-sewn business owners are welcome to use the pattern to sew bras for customers. Every sewist needs their own copy of the pattern. You may not redistribute any pattern you create from the Pattern Generator.
