MyFit Toque
The MyFit Toque is a fun hat pattern you can use for everyone in your family. You can create toques, beanies, baby hats, skullcaps and double pom pom hats. This hat pattern isn't like any other - you enter your measurements, options and fabric you are using, and the pattern generator program will draw out your pattern pieces specific to your project. Best of all, access to this pattern never expires, so you can create as many variations of the MyFit Toque as you wish.
There is no lower or upper limit to the measurements that can be entered. Standard sizes for babies, children and adults are also available.
Here are the details:
- Fabric: Knit with 4-way stretch works great for the outer layer. Fleece, wool, old sweaters are good choices as well. Woven fabrics like silk or satin can be used as a lining. The pattern will adjust to the stretch percentage of the fabric you are using.
- Sewing Level: Beginner
- Sizes: All of them! The pattern is drawn based on 2 body measurements
- Optional: Use AP standard sizing for babies, kids and adults
- Styles: Fitted (for baby hats and skullcaps), beanie, toque (more scrunchy on top than the beanie), and double tip
- Brim options including fold up brims and a shaped brim to cover the ears
- You can specify the brim height
- You can cut your hat in one, two or four pieces, depending on the sizes of your fabric pieces
- Lined or unlined
- Seam allowance: you get to choose!
- Number of patterns you can make with one purchase: as many as you like!
- Paper size: letter, A4, A0, tabloid, legal, A3, projector file, inverted projector, and preview option. Choose to cut on the fold or have unfolded pieces
- Full instructions for all style options, with photos for each step
This pattern is for personal use only. You may make toques and hats for yourself or others. Small scale hand-sewn business owners are welcome to use the pattern to sew toques for customers. Every sewist needs their own copy of the pattern. You may not redistribute any pattern you create from the Pattern Generator.
