Hack your leggings to have no front crotch seam and a long gusset
Recently someone from our testing team asked if we could make a pattern for Leggings with no front crotch seam. It got me thinking- I bet I could hack that. Maybe someday we will get an actual pattern generator for leggings like these but in the meantime- let's see if we can do it together. I used the MyFit Leggings as the base for this hack. I think it could be done with the MyFit Riding Tights too, but that's a hack for another day. I generated and printed a pair of MyFit Leggings custom to my measurements and fabric stretch....
Using the MyFit Sleeper to make Costumes
One of the best things about a sleeper or romper pattern is that it is infinitely customizable. You can add ears, tail, belly “spots”, applique, “ruffs”, spines, foot covers, and more! The Pokemon I made for the kiddos were Pichu, Pikachu, Raichu, Eevee, and...
How to make a V neck for your MyFit Tee
The MyFit Tee comes with multiple neckline options, but what if you wanted a V neck instead? This hack is going to be demonstrated using the MyFit Tee, but will work for most T shirt patterns. It may take a bit of practice but I promise you can make beautiful V-Necks with only a TINY amount of math. We’re going to start by cutting out our shirt. I start...
Wrap Dress Construction
Time for construction of the Wrap dress. I made this whole dress using 3 different Apostrophe Patterns, the MyFit Tee, the Circle Skirt calculator, and the Gathered Skirt calculator. I love that the benefit of having a really well fitting Tee is that the door to modifications and hacks is wide open. The MyFit tee becomes a base for a world of ideas. I modified the front into a full wrap as seen here and modified the sleeves to be Bishop sleeves here. I used two different fabrics for this wrap dress, in the image below is a...
